Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger in June 1996. She is professionally known as Aurora. Her name may also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval by music blogs and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are among the best covers of the artist. Her name was also recognized from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a piano in her loft and being captivated by its music. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a profession or a hobby, but rather to gain experience. She began writing lyrics of her own. Her sources include renowned writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her attraction to Bjork's style. Her mother urged her to play her music publicly, not in order to be famous, but to help others realize how important their voices are and how they can do for the world. When she was six She began playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. She didn't tell her family about it until the age of fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. According to her, she likes to write songs. Music is for her the most effective way to express anything.
